Sewing

I got my first sewing machine on a flea market, a couple of years ago, but it was love at first sight. Or more like, I've wanted one for some time, and this one was sitting alone in a corner. It was a tiny model, for child probably, but after trying out the straight and zigzag stitches, I started quite ambitious projects.

A few hours after bringing the machine home, I attempt to transform an old pair of jeans into a sleeveless jacket. I find a tutorial online, and there goes nothing!

After that, I bought "fabric" in vintage second hand shops (aka clothes) and made me a jacket for a wedding, and transformed other things...
I got myself a better machine, which has been my trusted partner since. I started taking sewing lessons at Les Cadavres Exquis, and then enrolled in a 3 year course to be a show costume designer.

After graduation, I kept on building experience in many different projects. I train my eye and my technique on movie sets, theater plays, animations, or simply within my personal stock of costumes for which I handle the rentals.
